Jessica Tarlov: Age, Career, Family and Political Views

Jessica Tarlov is an American political commentator and a rotating co-host of Fox News’s The Five. She is a registered Democrat and one of the network’s best-known progressive voices.

Early life and education

Tarlov was born on 9 March 1984 in New York City and grew up in Tribeca, the daughter of screenwriter Judith Roberts and film producer Mark Tarlov. She earned a history degree at Bryn Mawr College and then studied at the London School of Economics, where she completed a doctorate examining how scandals affect parliamentary elections.

Career

In 2024 she told the New York Times that her aim is to be a "reasonable and data-driven representative of the left" for Fox viewers.

Family

She married hedge-fund executive Brian McKenna in 2021. They have two daughters, Cleo (born December 2021) and Teddy (born April 2024).

Book

Her book, I Disagree: Winning Arguments Without Losing Friends, is due from Random House in 2026.
